Alone Rangers Is On Holiday This Week

It's so important to take a breath and pause your life occasionally. And I am doing just that.

I’m on a break, in sunny Bali, for a holiday, so there is no new article on my Substack this week. However, I'll be using my time by the pools, and an inevitable series of gin and tonics, to reflect on Alone Rangers for the rest of the year.

My work world is about to transform immensely for the first time in almost eleven years. I want to ensure I embrace the new pattern of life this brings, both in my personal life and whatever work endeavours I pursue.

It's so important to take a breath and pause your life occasionally. We often find ourselves caught on the hamster wheel of the everyday. I appreciate that everyone's circumstances are different. I am privileged to spend a few weeks in a beautiful location, catching up with friends and having plenty of time to reflect.

Staring out the window with no obligations or decisions pending other than where to eat dinner is, at least for me, a freeing experience. It allows your mind to wander, allowing random thoughts to fly around.
